The Nepali film ‘Anjila,’ which was released last week, is making an extraordinary success journey in Nepal. The film, which successfully attracted a large audience in its first week, is now being showcased more widely in its second week. Starting with 105 shows, the screenings have now expanded to over 170 shows. Due to the overwhelming interest from audiences and positive feedback, the number of shows is continuously increasing across Nepal.
Along with its success in Nepal, there has been a huge demand for its international screenings. In the meantime, the filmmakers have issued an official clarification regarding misleading information circulating on social media about the film’s international release.
According to a press release issued by the film’s producer Prem Kumar Shrestha and director Milan Chams, the distribution and screening rights for countries other than Japan, Korea, Canada, and Hong Kong have not been sold yet. The statement mentions that there have been claims on social media about the worldwide release of the film, which are completely misleading and baseless.
