The release date for the social comedy film ‘Dukhi Aatma’ (Sad Soul), directed by Dipendra Lama, has been officially announced.
The film is set to hit theaters on February 14 (Fagun 2 in the Nepali calendar), coinciding with Valentine’s Day.
On Friday, the production banner Clock Work Creations revealed the film’s title design along with the release date.
The movie features a star-studded cast including Dayahang Rai, Aanchal Sharma, Anup Bikram Shahi, Buddi Tamang, and Rear Rai.
The film is produced by Himal Kadarai, with Sudip Dhakal as the executive producer.
This marks the second collaboration between director Dipendra Lama and producer Himal Kadarai, following the success of their previous film, ‘Nango Gaun’, which was a box office hit.
The movie was filmed in and around Kathmandu, with Alok Shukla handling the cinematography.
RR Films will distribute the film. Since its announcement, ‘Dukhi Aatma’ has generated significant buzz and is considered one of the most anticipated films.
The film is expected to convey a social message through humor and satire, with audiences eagerly awaiting its release.
