
The international distribution rights (excluding India) of the Nepali movie ‘Laaj Sharanam’, produced by the popular team of the TV series ‘SakkiGoni’, have been acquired by Seven Seas International.
The movie is scheduled to be released on February 26, 2024 (Shivaratri). Seven Seas International has purchased the international distribution rights for markets outside India.
On Tuesday, an agreement was signed between Arjun Ghimire (Pande) from the production company JPT Creation and Patrick Subedi from Seven Seas International.
As per the agreement, Seven Seas International will release ‘Laaj Sharanam’ in the international market in two phases.
According to distributor Subedi, the movie will be screened in various countries on February 28 and March 7. Detailed information about the countries will be announced soon.
Directed by Kumar Kattel (‘Jigri Bro’), the movie is a major project of the ‘SakkiGoni’ team and is highly anticipated.
The cast includes actors Bijay Baral, Mukunda Shrestha, Mahesh Tripathi, Arpan Thapa, Renu Yogi, and Bijay Lama. Additionally, key members of the Sakki Goni team—Arjun Ghimire (Pande), Sagar Lamsal (Bale), Harish Niraula (Kakroz), Priyana Acharya (Munni), and Kamalmani Nepal (Khupika Bau)—also star in the movie.
The film is produced by Naveen Shrestha, with Ram Naresh Shah and Srijana Khadka serving as co-producers. Cinematography is handled by Sudeep Baral.
