
Dipendra Lama’s Directed Film ‘Dukhi Aatma’ Gains Demand in Foreign Markets with First Look Release, Japan Distribution Rights Sold
The first look of Dipendra Lama’s directed film ‘Dukhi Aatma’ has been released, and with it, the film has seen an increased demand in foreign markets. On Wednesday, the Japan distribution rights for the film were sold.
UNA Entertainment has acquired the rights to release ‘Dukhi Aatma’ in Japan.
Ujjwal Guragai, the head of UNA, stated that the high demand for the film in Japan led to their decision to purchase the rights. However, the production team has not disclosed the amount at which the rights were sold.
The film features prominent actors such as Dayahang Rai, Anchal Sharma, Anup Vikram Shahi, Buddi Tamang, Rear Rai, Lokendra Lekhak, Aashant Sharma, among others. The film is set to release in Nepal on Fagun 2 (March 15) and will also be released in Japan on the same date, according to UNA Entertainment.
Sudip Dhakal is the executive producer of the film, and Himal Kadariya has invested in the project. The film is produced under the banner of Cluck Work Creations, with Alok Shukla as the cinematographer and Nimesh Shrestha as the editor.
The production team has mentioned that there is also increasing demand from other countries for the film. Himal Kadariya, the producer, has shared that the distribution rights for the film will likely be sold in most countries in the coming days.
