The movie Karsang has released its first song.
The song titled Saat Bhanjyang has been made public.
Written by DP Khanal, the song features music by SD Yogi and vocals by AD Yodi and singer Reshma Pun Magar. The arrangement is done by Rikes Gurung.
The song’s video showcases the lead actors of the movie, Dayahang Rai and Sirjana Ninglenkh.
This romantic song portrays the love between Dayahang and Sirjana. It focuses on their love, memories, dreams of living together, and the plans of the two characters.
The movie is set to release on Poush 26 (January 10, 2025).
Karsang is directed by debutant Yam Sherpa. It revolves around a family drama based in a rural setting.
The movie highlights the struggles of poverty, deprivation, and the cultural stories of the Sherpa community.
The movie aims to give the audience a closer experience of Sherpa art, culture, and lifestyle.
Along with Dayahang Rai and Sirjana Ninglenkh, the cast includes Jeetu Nepal, Diya Maskey, Buddhi Tamang, Srishti Gautam, Doma Hyolmo, Prem Lopchan, and Surbir Pandit, among others. This is Sirjana Ninglenkh’s debut film.
Produced by Purushottam Pradhan under Yarsa Films and Purushottam Pradhan Films, Pradhan has also worked as the cinematographer. Govinda Bohara is the co-producer, while executive production is handled by Angchiring Sherpa.
