The teaser of the horror family drama Mummy has been released.
The film narrates the story of a family that begins to face a series of dark calamities following the tragic death of their beloved dog and the daughter’s decision to adopt a black cat. The events progressively lead the family toward disintegration.
The teaser, released today, indicates that the film promises to deliver a horror experience that meets audience expectations.
Scheduled for release on February 8, the movie features Priyanka Karki, Diya Maskey, and Sulakshan Bharti in lead roles. Additionally, the cast includes Samip Niroula, Ghanshyam Joshi, Ayushi Dhakal, Jebis Shrestha, Geet Bisht, and others.
Produced under the banner of So Twenty Five, the film is written by Samar Niroula and Purnima Joshi, with Samar Niroula making his directorial debut.
The producers of the movie are Lok Raj Joshi and Purnima Joshi, while Suman Koirala serves as the executive producer.
Cinematography for Mummy is jointly handled by Nishal Paudel and Sharad Mahato, and the editing is done by Suren Maharjan. The background score is composed by Rohit Shakya, sound design by Shrawal R.P., color grading by Dipesh Chaudhary, and music by SD Yogi.
The film will be distributed by Kafiya Films in the Kathmandu Valley and Kuber Cine Distribution in other regions.
