The teaser for the movie ‘Rangi’ has been released. The teaser, lasting 1 minute and 39 seconds, was unveiled on Monday and depicts the struggles of a father for his daughter.
The teaser focuses on actor-producer Salon Basnet and child artist Ayushi Dhakal. A mix of laughter, tears, and pain, the teaser shows a daughter waiting by the window for her father, Salon working tirelessly as a food delivery worker regardless of rain or sunshine, and his emotional breakdown when unable to fulfill promises made to his daughter. The teaser’s poignant climax shows Salon screaming in anguish after an accident leaves his daughter injured.
The film marks the directorial debut of Suresh Nyaupane.
Apart from Salon and Ayushi, the film stars Namrata Shrestha (former Miss Nepal), Dilip Rayamajhi, Uttam KC, Sumin Gurung, and Bishal Pahari, among others. The movie’s producers are Saksham Subedi, Karishma KC Basnet, and Anish Gautam, with Salon Basnet also presenting the project.
The technical team includes Suman Gajmer (scriptwriting), Saurabh Lama (cinematography), music by Durgesh Thapa, Aamesh Bhandari, and Bhim BC, vocals by Ananda Karki, Aamesh Bhandari, Bhim BC, Samikshya Adhikari, and Sujata KC, lyrics by Durgesh Thapa, Aamesh Bhandari, and Bhim BC, Bande Prasad (editing), Rajendra Moktan (color grading), and choreography by Kabiraj Gahatraj and Shishir Khati.
