The trailer for the film ‘Karsang’ has been unveiled.

It opens with the lead character, portrayed by Dayahang Rai, receiving a warning from society about being ostracized.

The trailer explores themes of bitterness, deprivation, and societal beliefs in shamanism, along with the traditions, financial struggles, administrative barriers, and social exclusion faced by the protagonist. It showcases the turmoil and division within a family caused by anger, resentment, and societal decisions, as well as the protagonist’s struggle and compromises to maintain self-respect.

The story culminates by highlighting superstitions, familial love, societal gossip, and how these lead to disharmony and disintegration within the family. The trailer portrays how a merciless society exacerbates the suffering of an already deprived family, likening them to a gourd hanging precariously on a cliff.

Produced under the banners of Yarsa Films and Purushottam Pradhan Films, the movie is directed and produced by Purushottam Pradhan, who also served as the cinematographer. Govinda Bohora is the co-producer, while Angchiring Sherpa acted as the executive producer.
