Child singer Sachin Pariyar has passed away.

The hospital informed that Pariyar breathed his last during treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital on Thursday at 10:45 AM.

Sachin, a 13-year-old who gained fame on social media with his unique catchphrase “Ke Cha Hajur?” (“What’s up, sir?”) and his singing talent, had been undergoing treatment in the ICU for the past few days.

Since last year, he had been suffering from health issues, which eventually left him unable to move the lower half of his body properly. Following a prior surgery, Sachin could no longer stand on his own.

Some of the popular songs he sang include Rato Rubber Ek, Rumal Kharcha Ki, Ke Cha Ra Hajur, and Barko Chhayale.

Sachin had also acted in a music video alongside actor Rajesh Hamal and performed in the comedy series Meri Bassai.
