Prangden Hani Limbu has won the title of ‘The National Designer Runway 2024’, the mega competition for fashion designers in its fifth edition.
He claimed the title at the competition held on Saturday evening in Bhaktapur.
In the competition, which had 14 fashion designers as contestants, Sabi Shrestha was the First Runner-Up, and Oman Komen Zukandri was the Second Runner-Up. Additionally, Sajina Moniker was crowned Most Popular.
The winners were presented with crowns and various prizes by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Indira Rana, the judges, and members of the organizing team.
The competition was organized by Rajya Media Network and presented by Events Nepal. The event was conceptualized and directed by Devil Singh Rajput, the CEO of Rajya Media Network and Events Nepal, and chaired by Saroj Ojha, the chairman of Rajya Media Network. Fashion designers from IIFT, NIFT, and IEC participated in the competition.
The outfits designed by the designers were presented on the ramp by 38 models.
The judges for the competition included fashion experts Manisha Dangol Shrestha, Sabin Dhungana, Jwalaraj Pokharel, Surya Deep Ghatani, Nisha Shrestha, and senior news editor of Nepal Television and fashion expert Shobha Shrestha.
The competition was choreographed by Rojin Shakya, while the event management was handled by Sanjiv Kasaju, with Parmanand Chaudhary as the event manager and Shailesh Nepali as the event coordinator.
