The advance booking for the movie ‘Karsang,’ which is set to release on Poush 26, has opened.
The movie has secured a significant number of shows.
The movie has received 25 shows in QFX multiplex chains within the Kathmandu Valley and 28 shows in its outside valley chains.
Similarly, INI Cinemas, the second-largest multiplex chain, has given 15 shows across its three chains.
Likewise, F Cube Cinemas and BSR Movies have allotted 6 shows each. The bookings for Big Movies and One Cinemas are yet to open.
‘Karsang’ is a movie written and directed by Yam Sherpa. According to director Sherpa, the movie is centered on a family-based storyline set in a rural environment.
The 2-hour 5-minute-long ‘Karsang’ depicts themes of scarcity, poverty, and cultural stories of the Sherpa community. The production team believes the movie will win the audience’s hearts.
The cast of the movie includes Dayahang Rai, Sirjana Ninglekhu, Jitu Nepal, Diya Maskey, Buddi Tamang, Srishti Gautam, Doma Hyolmo, Prem Lopchan, and Surveer Pandit, among others.
The movie is a presentation of Yarsa Films and Purushottam Pradhan Films. It is produced and cinematographed by Purushottam Pradhan, with Govinda Bohara as the co-producer and Angchiring Sherpa as the presenter.
