Pitambar Teaser: Action and Mystery, Promises Thrills and Twists

The action-packed teaser of the film Pitamabar, set to release on Chaitra 29 (April 11, 2025), coinciding with the New Year 2082, has been unveiled. The production team released the teaser during a program organized in the capital on Monday.

The teaser, which begins with actor Divya Dev reciting the Mahabharata quote “Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya,” features actors Pradeep Khadka, Anup Bikram Shahi, Dayahang Rai, Saugat Malla, Surakshya Panta, Supushpa Bhatt, Divya Rai Majhi, and Rabindra Jha, among others.

Released through Budha Subba Digital, the teaser places special emphasis on Pradeep and Saugat’s action sequences.

In the teaser, Rabindra Jha’s dialogue, “There’s a huge twist in the story; two Pitambars have the same story,” hints at the possibility of two characters named Pitambar in the film.

Director Krisha explained that every film is built on a unique story, emphasizing that Pitambar is also based on a new narrative.

She stated that the film has been made on a grand canvas and expressed confidence that this would be evident in the trailer.

Actor Pradeep Khadka claimed that the action conveys the film’s essence and that the teaser reveals a glimpse of the storyline. Describing Pitambar as a new milestone in his career, Pradeep revealed that he chose the film not just for its script but for the director Krisha’s vision.

Producer Bishal Chaulagain said his interest in the film has grown over time. He expressed admiration for his sister Krisha’s dedication to filmmaking and mentioned that his involvement in films surprised his friends, given his background as a medical professional. Bishal previously produced Krisha’s film Aincho Paincho.

Actress Surakshya Panta shared her joy in collaborating with an excellent team, while Supushpa Bhatt mentioned that portraying an emotional character in the film helped her grow as an actor. Similarly, actress Divya Rai Majhi remarked that the film holds special significance for her.

Krisha, who began her directorial journey with Aincho Paincho, has previously directed films like Insaf, Kasam Hajurko, Ke Ma Timro Sathi Banna Sakchhu, and Palas.

Produced under the banners of KP Films and Purushottam Pradhan Films, Pitambar features an ensemble cast, including Pradeep Khadka, Dayahang Rai, Saugat Malla, Aryan Sigdel, Anup Bikram Shahi, Surakshya Panta, Gauri Malla, Rabindra Jha, Pramod Agrahari, Kameshwar Chaurasiya, Tika Pahadi, among others.

Child actors Arnav Ghimire, Prayus Dutta Subedi, Aadhya Lamichhane, Aaroh Chaulagain, and Suprol Budhathoki (Anmol) have also performed in the film.
