The film Tandavam, directed by Junim Gahatraj, has released its poster and announced its release date.
According to the announcement, the film will be released on Falgun 9 (Nepali calendar).
The unveiled poster showcases the character looks of the film’s main actors.
It features Pushkar Gurung, Prem Subba, Sarina Magar, Ankit Khadka, Anoj Pandey, and director Junim Gahtoraj.
Known for his expertise as a colorist, this marks Junim’s debut as a director. Kamal Karki and Gopal Katuwal also star in the film.
The production team has stated that the movie incorporates a cultural and religious connection, in line with its title.
The story revolves around a newlywed couple preparing to welcome their first child, only to encounter unexpected events that bring dramatic twists to their lives. It is presented as a family-action thriller.
The film, produced under the banner of Singhadevi Production, is backed by producers Dhankumari Gahtoraj, Sabina Magar, and Manish Gautam.
Cinematography is handled by Hari Ghale Lama, with action direction by Samrat Basnet, music by Sushant Gautam, and background score by Kobid Bajra. The story, screenplay, and dialogues are written by Aniruddha Atreya and Husein.
Before his directorial debut, Junim Gahatraj worked as a colorist in numerous films such as Paniphoto, Pashupati Prasad 2: Bhasmadhon, Khushma, Chiso Manchhe, and Parastree.
