The new trailer of Missing: Keti Haraeko Suchana (Missing: The Notice of a Missing Girl), set to release on January 24 (Magh 11), has been unveiled. The 1-minute 56-second trailer revolves around lead actors Nazir Hussain and Shristi Shrestha.
The trailer begins with Shristi, a character of hill origin, being held captive by Nazir, who represents a Madhesi character. Alongside showcasing their dance sequences, the trailer emphasizes themes of identity. Nazir voices grievances about how the Madhesi community in Nepal is often portrayed as Indian. The trailer also highlights Mithila culture.
Nazir plays the role of Ram, while Shristi portrays Sita in the film. Missing: Keti Haraeko Suchana is presented under the banner of Tri-City Pictures and is written and directed by Dipendra Gauchan.
The film stars Nazir, Shristi, along with Sanjay Gupta, Ramnarayan Thakur, Madan Thakur, Reena Rimal, Kaushalya Thakur, Lalita Devi Mishra, Rupesh Mandal, Sudip Patel, Anil Kurmi, Manoj Shah, Arjun Pokharel, and Omprakash Karn. Amitesh Shah plays a special role.
The executive producer is Nakim Uddin, while the co-executive producers include Manohar Das Mool, Anin Rajbhandari, Rajiv Thapa, Robin Thapa, Radhesh Pant, Mahendra Shakya, Jyotiman Sherchan, Chandra Bhattchan, and Sanjay Bhattchan. Amitesh Shah serves as the associate producer. The story and writing are by Dipendra Gauchan, with additional writing support from Amit Pokharel and Amitesh Shah.
