The upcoming film Rangi, set to be released on the 2nd of Falgun, is gaining attention due to its teaser and the song Chha Bhane Maya.
The film, based on a father-daughter story, features Salon Basnet, Ayushi Dhakal, and Namrata Shrestha in the lead roles.
As the presenter of the film, Saloon Basnet, along with the lyricist and composer of Chha Bhane Maya, Durgesh Thapa, are touring festivals for promotional purposes.
They recently began promoting the film at the Baasgadhi Festival in Bardiya. Festivals have become an excellent platform for singers, musicians, and film artists to promote their films and songs, and Saloon did not want to miss this opportunity.
According to Salon, during the festival, while Durgesh was singing Chha Bhane Maya, Salon was dancing. He mentioned that, as he is appearing in front of the audience for the first time as a producer, he requested them to show love to Rangi, just like his previous films. “It feels wonderful to promote the film in front of hundreds of people at the festival. I am confident that the audience will support our film,” he said.
The film Rangi, directed by Suresh Nyaupane, is produced under the banner of Sanvi Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. In addition to Saloon, Namrata, and Ayushi, the film also features Dilip Rayamajhi, Uttam KC, Sumin Gurung, and Vishal Pahari in supporting roles.
The film is produced by Saksham Subedi, Karishma KC Basnet, and Anish Gautam. It has a script by Suman Gajmer, cinematography by Saurabh Lama, music by Durgesh Thapa, Amesh Bhandari, and Bhim Bisi, vocals by Anand Karki, Amesh Bhandari, Bhim Bisi, Samiksha Adhikari, and Sujata KC, lyrics by Durgesh Thapa, Amesh Bhandari, and Bhim Bisi, editing by Bande Prasad, color grading by Rajendra Moktan, choreography by Kabiraj Ghatraj and Shishir Khati, and production by Kevalman Singh Basnet.
The film will be distributed by Apple Entertainment, FD, and Rich Entertainment.
