The film Mayabi, set to release on the 14th of Falgun, has been gaining attention due to its songs and aggressive promotion.
Two songs from the film have already been released earlier, and now the production team has unveiled a new song titled Sitara Jadeko.
This song features vocals by Dikshyant Poudel and Samira Thapaliya, music by Shambhujit Baskota, and lyrics by Dayaram Pandey and Diwakar Bhattarai. The video of the song, choreographed by Diwakar Bhattarai himself, showcases the film’s lead actors—Paul Shah, Deepika Prasai, debutant Samim Khan, along with Prashant Tamrakar, Sushil Sitoula, Karishma Shrestha, and others.
The song’s audio is melodious and emotionally portrays the farewell moment of a wedding.
The film features cinematography by Raju Bikram Thapa and editing by Milan Shrestha. Written and directed by Diwakar Bhattarai, the film also stars Laxmi Giri, Anshu Maharjan, Ravi Dangol, Rama Prasai, Dipendra Simkhada, and Sangita Silwal.
The film is produced by Dhruba Neupane, Raj Katuwal, and Chandra Pant, with co-producers Manju Bhandari, Raju Parajuli, and Sumin Oli. The executive producers are Praveen Bhattarai and Karan Singh, and Nem Maharjan has also invested in the project.
