‘Juna: Ek Byatha’ Releases Heart-Wrenching Song ‘Aama Ko Muhar’

Juna: Ek Byatha, set to release on the 25th of Magh, has unveiled its song Aama Ko Muhar.

The song features vocals by Yadu Rai Lakandri, lyrics by Jeevan Century, and music, arrangement, mixing, and mastering by Ramesh Century.

The music video, released via OSR Digital, portrays the struggles faced by a young girl after child marriage. It highlights the suffering inflicted by her husband and the harsh treatment from her mother-in-law.

The song revolves around the film’s lead character, Asmita Dhakal. The video also features Krishna Prasad Dhital, Deshbhakta Khanal, Rashmi Bhatt, Anita Basnet, and others. As emotional as the song is, the video is equally heart-wrenching. Asmita’s performance is remarkably realistic.

The film is produced under the banner of Godawari Film Production and Research Pvt. Ltd., with Deepak Prasad Ghimire as the producer. Producer Ghimire stated that the film aims to discourage child marriage and violence against women.

The film’s director, Jeevan Century, described Juna: Ek Byatha as a historical and unique project. “Through this film, we have attempted to address the national necessity of eradicating social evils such as gender-based violence, child marriage, mismatched marriages, polygamy, rape, and menstrual seclusion practices,” said Century.

The film stars Asmita Dhakal, Krishna Prasad Dhital, Deshbhakta Khanal, Rashmi Bhatt, Anita Basnet, Kamal Bohora, and Khagendra Nyaupane.

Shot in Salija Okhreni, Parbat, the film features a story by Raj Bahadur Sane, music by BB Anuragi and Ramesh Century, lyrics by Jeevan Century and Bhim Bahadur Poudel, vocals by Anju Panta, Purnakala BC, and Yadu Rai Lakandri, with cinematography by Rameshwar Humagain.

The film will be distributed by Apple Entertainment, Rich Entertainment, and FD Company.
