Kathmandu – The title song ‘Rangi’ from the upcoming film Rangi, set to release on February 14, has been officially released. The song, launched via OSR Digital, features vocals by Aamesh Bhandari and Samikshya Adhikari, with lyrics and music by Aamesh himself. The arrangement is done by Roman Bajracharya, while Avinash Chaulagain handled the programming, mixing, and mastering.
The video stars Salon Basnet and Malika Mahat, portraying a romantic story. Set against a Valentine’s Day theme, the song depicts Salon’s encounter with Malika, a tea vendor, and their blossoming love story. The song is a beautiful blend of music, lyrics, and vocals, with well-executed choreography.
It showcases the journey of their relationship, from falling in love to marriage and eventually parenthood. The makers had kept Malika’s role a secret until now, and this song finally reveals her as Salon’s on-screen wife. The choreography is by Kaviraj Gahatraj.
Produced under the Sanvi Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. banner, Rangi marks Suresh Nyaupane’s directorial debut. The film is produced by Sakshyam Subedi, Karishma KC Basnet, and Anish Gautam and features Salon Basnet, Namrata Shrestha, Malika Mahat, Dilip Rayamajhi, Ayushi Dhakal, Uttam KC, Sumin Gurung, and Bishal Pahari in key roles.
The film boasts a talented team with Suman Gazmer as the writer, Saurabh Lama as the cinematographer, and music by Durgesh Thapa, Aamesh Bhandari, and Bheem BC. Singers Anand Karki, Aamesh Bhandari, Bheem BC, Samikshya Adhikari, Rajagna Shrestha, and Sujata KC have lent their voices to the soundtrack.
