The first song, Himani (Ae Sanu), from the upcoming film Tandavam, set to release on February 21 (Falgun 9) on the eve of Maha Shivaratri, has been released.
Following the positive reception of the film’s teaser, the song featuring lead actors Junim Gahatraj and Sarina Magar was unveiled on Tuesday.
The song is written and composed by Sushant Gautam, with vocals by Indrakala Rai.
Rai, who recently gained popularity as a contestant in The Voice of Nepal Season 6, has already made a mark with songs like Udayo Man from Behuli from Meghauli and Bardali.
The film’s team believes this will also benefit Tandavam’s new release.
Directed by debutant Junim Gahatraj, Tandavam features actors Pushkar Gurung, Prem Subba, Sarina Magar, Anoj Pandey, Kamal Karki, and Gopal Katuwal.
The film, categorized as a family-action thriller, follows the emotional and unexpected twists in the life of a newlywed couple preparing to welcome their first child.
Produced by Singhdevi Production in collaboration with Visual Arts Studio, the film’s producers are Dhankumari Gahatraj, Sabina Magar, and Manish Gautam.
Tandavam features cinematography by Hari Ghale Lama, action direction by Samrat Basnet, music by Sushant Gautam, and background score by Kobid Bajra. The story, screenplay, and dialogues are written by Aniruddha Atreya and Hussain.
