One of the most anticipated films of the year, Laaj Sharanam, has released its promotional song Herda Herdai Ma.
The song is sung by Shantishree Pariyar and Ashish Aviral, with lyrics penned by Anand Adhikari and music composed by Krishna Bhardwaj.
The song revolves around the love story of a young couple drawn to each other. Through its lyrics and visuals, the song conveys how lovers can understand each other’s emotions just by looking into each other’s eyes.
The song features simple lyrics and a memorable melody, making it easy to recall after just one listen.
The music video stars Mala Limbu, Gajit Bista, and most of the film’s main cast. Gajit makes a guest appearance in the video, which is shot against the backdrop of a traditional fair in the Terai-Madhes region.
Laaj Sharanam is produced by the team behind the popular comedy series Sakkigoni. From writers to actors and the director, the film is made entirely by the Sakkigoni team.
The lead role in Laaj Sharanam is played by Sitaram Kattel ‘Dhurmus’. The film is directed by Kumar Kattel and is set to release on Fagun 14 (on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri).
Alongside Dhurmus, the cast includes Arjun Ghimire, Sagar Lamsal, Harish Niraula, Priyana Acharya, Bijay Baral, Mahesh Tripathi, Arpan Thapa, Renu Yogi, Bijay Lama, Mukunda Shrestha, Mala Limbu, and others.
Produced under the banner of JPT Creation, the film is produced by Naveen Shrestha, with Ram Naresh Shah and Srijana Khadka serving as co-producers.
