
The film ‘Dukhi Aatma’, which has been generating buzz since the release of its teaser, has been granted a ‘PG’ certificate by the Film Censorship Committee.
After the release of the teaser and trailer, many people were curious about what actions the censor board would take, particularly whether any scenes would be cut. However, today the film received its censor approval. According to the director of the film, Dipendra Lama, no scenes in the movie were cut by the censor board. On the other hand, the production team shared that the storyline and presentation of the film were highly praised by the censor board members.
Now, children under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by their parents to watch the movie. Director Lama stated, “The storyline of our film is unique. Despite various speculations, this is a family film. Therefore, audiences from all walks of life can watch it with confidence.”
Written and directed by Dipendra Lama, the film stars Dayahang Rai, Aanchal Sharma, Anup Bikram Shahi, Buddhi Tamang, and others. The film is produced by Himal Kadaria, with Sudip Dhakal serving as the executive producer. The cinematography is by Alok Shukla.
The film is scheduled to release on February 14, coinciding with Valentine’s Day.
