The song “Ma Ta Fan Bhaye Yaar” from the upcoming film Pitambar, set to be released on Chait 29, has trended on YouTube.

Within just 7 hours of its release, the song entered YouTube’s trending list and has already garnered over 1.2 million views.

The song features vocals by Ashish Aviral and Asmita Adhikari, with lyrics by Anand Adhikari and music composed by Ashish Aviral. The song was shot in a location in the Terai, and the chemistry between the film’s lead actors, Pradeep Khadka and Divya Rayamajhi, has been excellently showcased by choreographer Kabiraj Gahatraj. Their bonding in the song, with over a hundred chorus members, looks impressive.

Pradeep is likely to be seen dancing with a chorus for the first time, as in his previous films, he was rarely seen performing much in the way of dancing. Both the chorus and the choreographer have put in considerable effort, and the set, designed in the Durbariya style, is beautifully decorated with excellent props. From the choreography and chorus to the presentation of the actors, the overall production quality of the song can be seen as international-level.

The costumes of the artists and chorus were designed according to the theme of the set. According to producer Vishal Chaulagain, workers and sets were brought in from India for the song.

“Since the film was shot in the Terai, we made sure the set matched the local atmosphere. We didn’t compromise on the set construction. Nearly 6,000 locals gathered while the song was being filmed, and there was a high chance of them appearing in the camera frame. However, we managed to complete the song without including the locals in the frame, which was quite a challenge,” Vishal said.

Released by Budha Subba Digital, the song features not only Pradeep and Divya but also Pramod Agrahari, Supushpa Bhatta, Divya Dev, and child actors Adhya Lamichhane and Suprol Budhathoki (Anmol). Directed by Krisha Chaulagai, the film is produced under the banner of KP Films and Purushottam Pradhan Films.

The film stars Pradeep Khadka, Dayahang Rai, Sougat Mall, Aryan Sigdel, Anup Bikram Shahi, Suraksha Pant, Gauri Mall, Ravindra Jha, Pramod Agrahari, Kamshwar Chaurasiya, Tika Pahadi, Sulabh Pahadi, Surveer Pandit, Vishal Pahadi, Divyadev Pant, Supuspa Bhatt, Divya Rayamajhi, Gaurav Bisht, Ashish Purush, Lalit Bisht, Kishor Bhatt, Vinod Kumar Paudel, Narayan Kafle, and Ravindra Bhattarai.

The child actors include Arnav Ghimire, Prayus Datta Suvedi, Aadhya Lamichhane, Aaroh Chaulagai, and Suprol Budhathoki (Anmol). Director Krisha, who took her first step into direction with Aincho Paicho, has previously worked on films like Insaaf, Kasam Hajaruko, Ke M Timro Saathi Banna Sakchu, and Palas.

Produced by Vishal Chaulagai, the film’s co-producers are Purushottam Pradhan, Adhya Lamichhane, and Aaroh Chaulagai. The executive producer is Suman Gautam, while Pradeep Bhardwaj and Abhimanyu Nirvi are responsible for the screenplay and dialogue. Purushottam Pradhan is the DOP, with Sher Bahadur Lama and Manakrishna Maharjan handling the cinematography. The editing is done by Bande Prasad, and the background score is by Kala Charan. The film’s color grading is by Renish Fago, and music is composed by Ashish Aviral and Babul Giri. Himal KC is in charge of the action choreography. The film will be distributed by RR Films.
