The above dialogue is from the film Mayabi. Scheduled for release on Falgun 14, the film’s trailer has been officially launched today.
The trailer prominently features actor Paul Shah and actress Deepika Prasai, alongside Sushil Sitoula, Karishma Shrestha, and newcomer Samim Khan in key roles.
The story revolves around Paul and Deepika’s love, the challenges they face, and their eventual separation.
Several dialogues in the trailer appear to be emotionally touching. Written and directed by Diwakar Bhattarai, the film is produced by Dhurba Neupane, Raj Katuwal, and Chandra Pant.
Raju Parajuli and Sumit Wali are co-producers, while Praveen Bhattarai and Karan Singh serve as executive producers. The movie is presented by Creative Cine Arts Pvt. Ltd., with Nem Maharjan as an additional investor.
The cast also includes Prashant Tamrakar, Laxmi Giri, Anshu Maharjan, Rajaram Paudel, Rabi Dangol, Rama Prasai, Dipendra Singhkhada, and Sangita Silwal.
The cinematography is handled by Raju Bikram Thapa, editing by Milan Shrestha, and music composed by Shambhujit Baskota and SD Yogi. Raj Kumar Karki is the line producer, while choreography is done by Kaviraj Gahatraj and Praveen Singh. The trailer was edited by Sahil Khan.
At the trailer launch event, the cast shared their experiences of struggles and joyful moments during filming. Director Diwakar Bhattarai became emotional while recalling the hardships faced during the film’s production, bringing tears to many eyes. He assured that the film will not disappoint the audience and will be premiered confidently.
Lead actor Paul Shah urged everyone to watch the movie with their loved ones. Mayabi is expected to introduce a new dimension to romantic films in Nepali cinema.
