With the release of the teaser and song, the film Pitambar, which is set to release on Chait 29 (April 12, 2025) on the occasion of the New Year 2082, has gained significant attention.
According to the director of the film, Krisha Chaulagain, the audience’s reactions to the teaser and song have led to a growing demand for the film abroad. She said, “The response to the teaser and song has significantly increased the demand for the film abroad. As every story calls for a new film, Pitambar is also a new story.”
The action-packed teaser begins with the Mahabharat quote ‘Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya’ recited by actor Divya Dev, and features the lead actors Pradeep Khadka, Anup Vikram Shah, Dayahang Rai, Saugat Malla, Suraksha Pant, Supushpa Bhatt, Divya Raimaji, and Ravindra Jha. The teaser, released by Budha Subba Digital, has been viewed over 1.7 million times.
Similarly, the romantic song ‘Ma Ta Fan Bhe Yaar’, featuring Pradeep Khadka and Divya Raimaji, has been viewed 1.9 million times. The song, shot in the Terai region with a grand set designed by Indian technicians, has a visually appealing presentation.
Producer Vishal Choulagain, who has shown increasing interest in the film, has committed to making even better films in the future. Professionally a medical businessman, Vishal had previously produced the film Aichopaecho directed by Krisha Choulagain.
Krisha, who took her first step into direction with Aichopaecho, has previously produced films like Insaaf, Kasam Hazaruko, Ke M Timro Saathi Banna Sakchu, and Palas.
The film, produced under the banner of KP Films and Purushottam Pradhan Films, features lead actors Pradeep Khadka, Dayahang Rai, Saugat Malla, Aryan Sigdel, Anup Vikram Shah, Suraksha Pant, Gauri Malla, Ravindra Jha, Pramod Agrahari, Kameshwar Chaurasiya, Tika Pahadi, Sulabh Pahadi, Survir Pandit, Vishal Pahadi, Divya Dev Panta, Supushpa Bhatt, Divya Raimaji, Gaurav Bisht, Ashish Purush, Lalit Bisht, Kishore Bhatt, Vinod Kumar Poudel, Narayan Kafle, and Ravindra Bhattrai.
Child actors Arnav Ghimire, Prayush Datt Suvedi, Aadhya Lamichhane, Aroh Choulagain, and Suprol Budathoki (Anmol) have also acted in the film.
