The trailer of the film ‘Hostel 3’ was unveiled on Friday during a special event held in Kathmandu.
Produced under the joint banner of Samman Entertainment and Aaron Khan Film Pvt. Ltd., this movie is set to release on February 23rd.
The trailer showcases experiences and various events from college and hostel life. Edited by Shahil Khan, the trailer not only presents the fun moments of life but also brings out its challenges. It features glimpses of the main characters’ lives, including Paras Bam Thakuri, Simran Panta, Ashish Ghimire, Padam Tamang, Hena Nagarkoti, Rihan Giri, Sama Parajuli, and others. Actor Praveen Khatiwada plays the role of the warden, while Ashish Purush, Rohan Shrestha, Umar Khan, and Santosh Baniya appear in antagonist roles.
The previous installment of ‘Hostel’ launched several actors, including Anmol KC, Salon Basnet, Swastima Khadka, Nazir Husen, among others. Now, ‘Hostel 3’ seems set to establish new talent.
The film is directed by Sashan Kandel, who has been active in music and music video direction for over two decades. Madhav Sharma has taken charge of writing and associate direction. The producers are Suresh Kandel, Karn Karki, and Govind Adhikari, while the co-producers are Shishir Gyawali, Anish Sigdel, Kundan Gupta, and Ganesh Magar. The executive producer is Shankar Koirala, and the line producer is Kosis Raj Khetri.
The film’s cinematography is directed by Arjun Tiwari, with editing by Bikash Dahal. The action direction is by Himal KC, music by Arjun Pokharel, Almora Rana Upreti, Mahesh Gyawali, and Kiran Michael, and choreography by Praveen Singh and Roshan Biskar.
The film will be distributed in the Kathmandu Valley by Kafiya Films (Govind Shahi) and outside the valley by RR Films (Rohit Kattel, Ratna Shrestha).
The trailer has raised anticipation among viewers with its attractive visuals, exciting storyline, and various scenes showcasing youthful enthusiasm. The trailer successfully reminds the younger generation of their present and the past of the older generation, making ‘Hostel 3’ likely to attract the youth, just like the previous installments of the series.
