The trailer of the Nepali film Hostel 3, released last Friday, has gained massive hype. Within just six hours of its release, the trailer began trending on YouTube, and within 21 hours, it had already garnered 1 million views. The trailer secured the top position in Nepal’s film section and trended in about 15 countries, maintaining its position even now.
Currently, the Hostel 3 trailer holds the third position in Nepal’s overall YouTube trending list, which is historic in itself. This is because, among the top 50 trending videos, Hostel 3’s trailer is the only Nepali entertainment content. The number one position is occupied by the recent Nepal vs. Myanmar women’s football match, while the second position is held by a short video from MrBeast.
The trailer has shown a significant impact in Gulf countries, European nations, the UK, Japan, Australia, and South Korea. The film has also made history by entering the trending lists of the vast Indian film industry. Additionally, the trailer is trending in Japan, Australia, Romania, Malta, Malaysia, South Korea, and the UK.
These statistics indicate that the film’s trailer has left a remarkable impact in Nepal and among Nepalese communities worldwide. The film’s director, Sashan Kandel, expressed his happiness over the positive reception of the promotional content, stating, “The immense love received by the trailer has been a great motivation for us. Based on the trailer’s hype, we will ensure that the film does not disappoint the audience’s expectations.”
