Khagendra and Barsha’s Pairing in ‘Harsha’ with a Muhurat Ceremony, Filming Starts from 17th

The muhurat of the movie Harsha, directed by debutant Ekta Paudel, was held on the occasion of Shivaratri at the Tridevi Temple in Thamel, Kathmandu.

In the film, Khagendra Lamichhane and Barsha Raut will play the lead roles.

Apart from them, the film will also feature actors like Santosh Pant, Sharmila Mall, Mao Tse Gurung, Vishal Pahadi, Nima Pandey, Suvarna Thapa, Srishti Maharjan, and Sangita Napit.

Director Paudel is the niece of the late director Shiv Regmi. Ekta Paudel, the niece of the late director Shiv Regmi, studied cinema making at the New York Film Academy.

Having a bachelor’s degree in mass communication, Ekta has also completed a master’s degree in management and leadership. In addition, she has made several short films.

The movie, set to start filming on the 17th of Falgun (Nepali calendar), will showcase a family-social story. The story of the film has been written by director Paudel herself.

The cinematography will be handled by Alok Shukla, while the music will be composed by Basanta Sapkota and Elish Karki.

The editor will be Lokesh Bajracharya, and the choreography will be done by Sunil Kshetri.

Kuldeep Sharma will be the main assistant director, and Ishwar Ghimire will be the production controller. The film will be produced under the banners of E-Prime Movies and Ashtalakshmi Productions.

Prashanna Paudel and Bikash Paudel (Chitwan) are the producers of the film, while the executive producer will be Hikmat Chokhal (Chitwan).

The movie is scheduled to be released in the year 2082 (Nepali calendar).
