The action-packed trailer of one of the most awaited action films of the year, Outlaw: Section 219, has been released. Set to hit theaters on Fagun 29 (March 12), the trailer significantly raises audience anticipation.
Written and directed by Bickee Maharjan, the film is produced by Amit Agrahari and Nisha Guide. The screenplay is by Bickee Maharjan and Binod Kathayat, with Navin Gurung as the Director of Photography (DOP). Vikas Chaudhary serves as the co-producer, while Binod Kathayat is the executive producer. The film’s editing is done by Sahil Khan, and action direction is handled by Chulthe Kaji.
The film stars Sushil Shrestha, Shiksha Sangraula, Naresh Poudel, Suman Bhandari, Hem Maharjan, Soni Lagun, Bishal Pahari, Mahesh Tripathi, Maria Karki, and Ayan Pariyar.
Judging by the trailer, the film’s filmmaking, storyline, and action sequences look remarkable. Sushil Shrestha has been portrayed as an “action star,” and his performance appears praiseworthy.
Some of the dialogues in the film stand out and could leave a lasting impression on the audience. One striking dialogue states:
“Here, jackals walk in packs and think of themselves as tigers. But they don’t know that a tiger always hunts alone.”
Another impactful line that seems likely to be a hit is:
“Until yesterday, you saw the rule of jackals. Today, you see the rule of a tiger!”
Action-packed films have been well-received in Nepal this year. Given its unique action style and theme of justice, Outlaw: Section 219 is expected to win over audiences.
