Former General Secretary of the Nepal Film Artists Association and veteran artist Chet Bahadur Singh has passed away while undergoing treatment. He breathed his last on Friday evening during treatment.
Singh was receiving medical care at Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu, where he succumbed to his illness. He had been unwell for some time.
For the past few weeks, he had been suffering from jaundice and was admitted to Teaching Hospital for treatment. His final rites were performed today at Pashupati Aryaghat.
Besides being involved in film production, he had also acted in over two dozen films.
