Actress Priyanka Karki, singer Rekha Shah, and writer & Nepali cuisine expert Rohini Rana inaugurated Batika Creations Boutique in Thapagaun, Kathmandu. On Saturday, actress Priyanka, singer Rekha, and Nepali cuisine expert Rohini cut the ribbon to officially open the boutique. This boutique was established and is operated by Mrs. Himalayan Nepal and fashion entrepreneur Goma Adhikari Dhital.
Actress Priyanka Karki mentioned that Batika Creations Boutique offers various styles and designs of outfits that suit her preferences, so she will be wearing their outfits. She wished Goma success in her boutique, which was founded with the aim of providing all types of attire under one roof. Priyanka also expressed confidence that Batika Creations would be a convenient source for outfits required for film shoots, music videos, and various events.
Similarly, singer Rekha Shah shared that she has been wearing Batika Creations’ outfits for a long time. Wishing Goma success at the inauguration, she emphasized that Batika’s outfits are not only affordable but also of high quality compared to other boutiques in Nepal. She also revealed that she has been wearing Batika Creations’ designs for music videos and parties.
Writer and Nepali cuisine expert Rohini Rana stated that Batika Creations would be an excellent destination for fashion enthusiasts. She mentioned that she has also been wearing outfits from Batika Creations and congratulated Goma on expanding the boutique. Former President of the Nepalese Military Women’s Association, Rohini, expressed her happiness that after contributing for a long time in Nepal Army’s technical field and retiring, Goma has now created a distinct identity in the fashion industry.
Boutique owner Goma stated that she initially established Batika Creations in a small shop in 2076 BS (2019 AD). However, it has now been relaunched with a focus on men, women, and children. During the inauguration ceremony, she informed that the boutique offers both casual wear for daily life and formal wear required for parties, ceremonies, and conferences—available in both custom and ready-to-wear options.
“People generally assume that boutiques are expensive, but my boutique offers clothing options ranging from affordable to high-end,” she added.
