The producers of the all-time blockbuster film ‘Purna Bahadur Ko Sarangi’ have announced the production of a new movie titled ‘Abhimanyu’.
On Sunday, the production team released a thematic poster and also announced the film’s release date. The movie is set to hit theaters on Shrawan 24.
The film, which will be released worldwide in both Nepali and Hindi, features a thematic poster that hints at a struggle between a chakravyuh (labyrinth) and money.
The storyline appears to revolve around a character who gets trapped in a chakravyuh due to greed for money and struggles to escape. This has undoubtedly piqued the curiosity of audiences about the film.
Presented by Seven Seas Cinema, ‘Abhimanyu’ will be directed by Sushant Gautam, with the story written by Mukesh Khanal. The film’s creative director is Madan Thapa.
The producers are Binod Poudel and Gunjan Giri, while Ramesh Chaulagain and Hari Shrestha serve as co-producers.
However, the production team has not yet revealed detailed information about the cast and storyline.
Since producer Poudel prefers making unconventional films, it remains unclear whether ‘Abhimanyu’ will feature star actors or introduce new faces. However, as he is known for giving opportunities to new directors and underground actors, the likelihood of casting mainstream stars seems low.
Poudel believes that presenting fresh or lesser-known faces makes it easier for audiences to connect with the story, suggesting that the casting will likely align with this vision.
