‘Aye Thuli’ song from ‘Jaar’ Unveiled

The first song from the film Jaar, based on the historical story by literary figure Indra Bahadur Rai, has been released. The production company Fairy Tale Pictures, which has announced the film’s release date as Baisakh 26 (May 9), unveiled the song Aye Thuli on Sunday.

The song’s video features actor Saugat Malla and actress Geetanjali Thapa. The music, lyrics, and visuals in the song represent Nepalese society from centuries ago. The film portrays real-life events that took place in Nepalese society during the 1800s. The song vividly depicts the socio-cultural setting of that era.

The song is sung by Jhuma Limbu and Pawan Giri, with lyrics by Hark Saud and musical arrangement by Ganga Thapa. The mixing and mastering have been done by Bishwo Shahi.

The lead roles in Jaar are played by Saugat Malla, Anoop Bikram Shahi, and Indian National Film Award-winning actress Geetanjali Thapa.

Directed by Phurba Tshering Lama, the entire film has been shot in Sikkim. Most of the cast and technical team are from India. The film has been produced in collaboration with Hope Reels, LA Seven Stars, Baral Studio, and Kiva Production. The executive producers are Neeraj Rai, Nursang Bhutia, Jyoti Kshetri, and Pema Rinzing Lepcha.

For its release in Nepal, the film has partnered with Apple Entertainment, Reach Entertainment, and FD Company, while Seven Seas Cinema is responsible for its international distribution. The cinematography has been done by Saravanan Elavarsu, and the editing is by Akhilesh Rai.
