Actor Saruk Tamrakar’s suicide case led actress Namrata Shrestha to remain out of the public eye, but she has now participated in a public event. She attended a program organized by Dhulikhel Municipality on the occasion of Women’s Day.
Shrestha, who had stayed away from the public spotlight for nearly 20 months, made a sudden appearance at the event. While delivering her speech, she said, “We all must unite to raise our voices for women’s empowerment. Women’s Day is not the only day to celebrate and respect women; every day is important for honoring and uplifting them.”
