
At the ongoing Tikapur Literature Festival, which began on Saturday, various personalities from different fields were honored with awards.
In the second edition of the festival, educationists Dhananjay Timilsina and Bal Bahadur Rawal were jointly awarded the Khadge Smriti National Pride Award, which carries a cash prize of NPR 100,000. They were recognized for their contributions to the education sector since the establishment of Tikapur Municipality.
Additionally, the Tikapur Sahitya Samaj Pratibha Award was presented to them. Similarly, Amit Chaudhary received the Tikapur Sahitya Samaj Outstanding Student Award, which includes a cash prize of NPR 25,000.
Meanwhile, Ainthan novelist and Madan Puraskar-winning author Vivek Ojha was awarded NPR 50,000 in recognition of his literary contributions.
The three-day festival is set to conclude on Monday.
