Jawalakhel-based Anova Skin & Hair Clinic, which has been providing excellent services for skin and hair-related problems for a long time, has introduced Nepal’s first international-standard anti-aging and hair treatment device, ‘Vivace.’
At a ceremony held at Hotel Himalaya in Kupondole, three popular Nepali film actresses—Rekha Thapa, Keki Adhikari, and Samragyee Rajya Laxmi Shah—unveiled the device.
During the event, actresses Keki Adhikari and Rekha Thapa expressed their plans to try the Vivace technology this week to enhance their skin health. Arriving late to the event, actress Shah also mentioned her interest in experiencing the treatment.
Dr. Smriti Shrestha, the director and senior dermatologist of Anova Skin & Hair Clinic, shared that bringing this device to Nepal required significant effort. According to Dr. Shrestha, the Vivace device uses a micro-needling process to treat skin and hair conditions. She explained that Vivace is an advanced micro-needling technology that employs radio frequency energy and tiny needles to rejuvenate the skin and scalp. This treatment penetrates deep into the skin to boost collagen production, reduce wrinkles, diminish scars and blemishes, and tighten the skin.
Dr. Shrestha further stated that this technology is used to address various skin concerns. It enhances skin firmness by stimulating collagen production, tightens the skin, reduces wrinkles and fine lines, minimizes aging signs, and improves skin texture by making it thicker, radiant, and healthier. She also claimed that Vivace is one of the best devices available for treating acne scars.
Additionally, the treatment helps remove skin pigmentation, scars, stretch marks, and uneven skin tone. It also controls oiliness by reducing pore size and enhances hair follicle density. Research has shown that using Vivace in combination with exosomes improves hair density and thickness.
Dr. Shrestha highlighted several benefits of Vivace micro-needling. She explained that the procedure is less painful since a topical anesthetic (numbing cream) is applied. Furthermore, noticeable skin improvement can be seen within a few days, and the treated skin heals quickly. According to her, this technology is suitable for all skin and hair types.
Addressing the launch event, Dr. Shrestha emphasized that Vivace micro-needling is a safe and effective skin treatment that helps achieve healthy, glowing, and youthful-looking skin.

The event featured stalls from Anova Skin & Hair Clinic, where attendees received consultations and information regarding this technology as well as other skin and hair care treatments.
