
Actor Prakash Saput has been signed for the film Paralko Aago, which is based on the literary work of storyteller Guru Prasad Mainali.
Producer Sushil Pokharel, on behalf of the film production company Hari Om Cine Makers, has signed Prakash for the film. Mainali Katha Puraskar Trust has already granted permission to Hari Om Cine Makers for the film’s production.
Paralko Aago is included in Mainali’s short story collection Naso.
According to producer Pokharel, Prakash is one of the two lead characters in the film. Earlier, Jitu Nepal and Suhana Thapa had already been signed as lead actors.
As per Pokharel, the story revolves around Chame, Gaunthali, and Juthe Damai, but the suspense remains regarding whether Jitu or Prakash will play the roles of Chame or Juthe Damai.
The film will feature writing by Sushil Devkota, cinematography by Sankalpa Bhujel, choreography by Ramji Lamichhane, and music by Satya–Swarupraj Acharya. Nagendra Ghimire will handle the film’s production control.
According to producer Pokharel, the film is set to release in 2082 BS. A film with the same name was directed by Pratap Subba 45 years ago.
Producer Pokharel mentioned that this time, the film will present the location, presentation, and screenplay in a different way. It will be directed by Laxman Sunar.
The story of Paralko Aago portrays the conflicts between the two characters, Chame and Gaunthali.
Previously, producer Pokharel has worked on films such as Maidan, Jivandata, Nigarani, Jai Shiva Shankar, Love Saba, Radhe, and Yatra.
