The film ‘Anjila’, which has been receiving widespread attention and praise since its release on Thursday, has now officially released its song ‘Raat Kin Huncha Hajur’ on YouTube.
With deeply emotional lyrics, this song narrates fragments of the life story of the film’s central character, Anjila Tumbapo Subba.
The song features vocals by Thaneshwar Gautam and Shanti Shree Pariyar, with music composed by Thaneshwar himself and lyrics penned by Prabha Bartoula. A short excerpt of the song can also be heard in the film. According to the film’s director, Milan Chams, the full song was released following strong audience demand.
Released on the occasion of Fagu Purnima, ‘Anjila’ has received overwhelmingly positive responses from viewers. Right from the first show, the film has seen enthusiastic audience turnout, with many viewers getting deeply emotional while watching it.
‘Anjila’ is based on the real-life story of Nepal’s national women’s football team captain, Anjila Tumbapo Subba, who portrays herself in the lead role. The film emotionally portrays her struggles and success from childhood to her professional football career.
Alongside Anjila, the film stars Sunil Thapa, Dayahang Rai, Vijay Baral, Sirjana Subba, Mao Tse Gurung, Sumin Gurung, and Buddhi Tamang, among others.
