The song ‘Rock On’ from the Nepali film Hostel 3, which was released last week, has been made available on YouTube.
This song, which is featured at the end of the film, was released online due to its high demand, as stated by director Sashan Kandel.
The song features the main actors of Hostel 3 Paras Bam (Kulboy) and Rihan Giri, with the vocals of Samir Kaji. The lyrics and music are by Mahesh Gyawali, and the arrangement was done by Yogesh Kaji.
Hostel 3 earned 4 crore 32 lakh gross collection in Nepal during its first week. The film is currently being screened in countries outside Nepal, including the Middle East and Australia, and will be released in almost all countries with Nepali populations, according to director Kandel.
The film is also generating buzz in countries like Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, and Australia.
Since its release last Thursday, the box office performance of Hostel 3 has been impressive. Director Kandel mentioned that the film’s business has not seen any decline on the second Saturday. “We are constantly visiting theaters and receiving trade reports from distributors. The excitement around the film’s business remains strong in the second week, and the second Saturday showed even broader enthusiasm,” Kandel stated.
The film features Paras Bam (Kulboy), Simran Pant, Ashish Ghimire, Padam Tamang, Hena Nagarkoti, Rihan Giri, Sama Parajuli, and other prominent roles. Praveen Khatiwada plays the role of the warden. Ashish Purush, Rohan Shrestha, Umar Khan, and Santosh Baniya are also part of the film.
The screenplay and dialogues of the film were written by Madhav Sharma, who also served as the associate director.
The film’s producers are Suresh Kandel, Karn Karki, and Govind Adhikari, with Shishir Gyawali, Anish Sigdel, Kundan Gupta, and Ganesh Magar as co-producers. Shankar Koirala is the executive producer, and Kosis Raj Chhetri is the line producer.
