J.B. Pokharel (Jivanath), the first cyclist in Nepal to complete the Mechi-Mahakali reverse bicycle journey, has released a musical gift.
In 2063 B.S., he undertook this journey from the Mechi Bridge in the east to Dodhara Chandani in the west, aiming to raise awareness among teenagers about the dangers of drug abuse and addiction.
Now, Pokharel has released a song titled Happy Hormone, featuring his own voice.
In this melodic dance track, J.B. Pokharel is joined by singer Rita KC. The song showcases a female character working in the same field, adding a unique visual element to the presentation.
The song, titled Timi Ta Mero Happy Hormone, has been arranged by Manohar Sunam. According to Pokharel, it was uniquely produced and will be submitted to the Guinness World Records as a tribute to his Mechi-Mahakali reverse cycling journey.
Pokharel, who works in the health sector, stars in the video alongside actress Sudha Gautam, who is a teacher by profession.
The video includes scenes of various activities performed during his reverse cycling journey.
The music video, directed by J.B. Pokharel himself, was filmed by Padam Bishwakarma, Suman SKR, and Kamal Shrestha, and edited by Sandesh Shah. It has been released through OSR Digital.
