The teaser of the upcoming movie ‘Viral Gorkhe’, scheduled to be released on Jestha 30 next year, has been made public. The 2-minute 8-second long teaser, released on Friday, gives a glimpse into the movie’s storyline.
With the increasing use and influence of social media in Nepal, the trend of doing anything to go viral has been on the rise in recent times. The teaser of the film shows the impact and consequences of chasing viral fame.
In the teaser, the character Gopal Pandey’s various antics to go viral and, after becoming viral, his live interview with fans are shown. The scenes, including an interview with journalist Rishi Dhamala, seem likely to capture the audience’s attention.
The film, produced under the banner of The GMI Academy and Nirbhana Film School, stars Saugat Malla, Srishti Shrestha, Buddhi Tamang, Laxmi Giri, Rajaram Poudel, and Rishi Dhamala. The producers of the film are Vishal Tamrakar, Mahesh Lamichhane, and Keval Jung Kunwar, with co-producers Bhuvan Adhikari and Nikhil Poudel.
The film, which features cinematography by Amar Maharjan, was shot in Bhujung village in Lamjung, Gorkha, and Chitwan.
