The team of the upcoming film “Pitambar,” set to release on Chait 29, 2082 (2025) in celebration of the New Year 2082, is currently busy with an aggressive promotional campaign. While the film’s first look, teaser, and songs continue to generate hype, the question “Who is Pitambar?” has increasingly piqued the curiosity of both the general audience and filmmakers.
The production team has been releasing posters on social media featuring solo photos of the film’s main actors along with the words “I am Pitambar.” After releasing separate solo posters of actors like Pramod Agrahari, Sougat Mall, and Dayahang Rai with the caption “I am Pitambar,” the curiosity among the audience has only grown.
The film, produced under the banners of KP Films and Purushottam Pradhan Films, is directed by Krisha Choulagai. The cast includes Pradeep Khadka, Dayahang Rai, Sougat Mall, Aryan Sigdel, Anup Vikram Shah, Suraksha Pant, Gauri Mall, Ravindra Jha, Pramod Agrahari, Kameshwar Chaurasia, Tika Pahadi, Sulabh Pahadi, Survir Pandit, Vishal Pahadi, Divyadev Pant, Supushpa Bhatt, Divya Raymajhi, Gaurav Bisht, Ashish Purush, Lalit Bisht, Kishor Bhatt, Binod Kumar Poudel, Narayan Kafle, and Ravindra Bhattarai.
Child actors Arnav Ghimire, Prayus Datt Suvedi, Aadhya Lamichhane, Aroh Choulagai, and Suprol Budhathoki (Anmol) also star in the film.
The film is produced by Vishal Choulagai, with Purushottam Pradhan, Aadhya Lamichhane, and Aroh Choulagai as co-producers, and Suman Gautam as the executive producer. The screenplay and dialogues are written by Pradeep Bhardwaj and Abhimanyu Nirvi. The cinematography is by Purushottam Pradhan, with Sherv Bahadur Lama and Manakrishna Maherjan handling the camera work, Bande Prasad as the editor, Ashish Aviral and Babul Giri providing the music, and Himal KC choreographing the action scenes. The film will be distributed by RR Films.
