The song of the film ‘Karma’ has been released. The song has been made public ahead of the film’s release on Chaitra 29.
The song titled ‘Sari Lagai Deu’ features the voice of Salina BK. The lyrics are written by Sushma Sigdel, while the music is composed by Bhaskar Swar. The video mixing and mastering were done by Shaswat Shrestha, and the arrangement was done by Bhaskar Swar and Subash Paudel.
The song, which uses typical words of Nepali society, gives a cultural touch. It attempts to speak about Nepali culture, and the song has been particularly crafted in the context of the Ratyoli tradition.
The song, which shows love and affection while also being sarcastic, talks about masculinity. The film’s team believes that the combination of love and sarcasm within Nepali culture will captivate the audience.
The music video, choreographed by Kabiraj Ghatraj, features the main actors of the film, Bipin Karki, Upasana Singh Thakuri, among others. Bipin’s entrance into Ratyoli makes the video exciting.
Bipin’s appearance in female attire and makeup shows a fun and humorous side of the video. This is also a tradition and belief of the Ratyoli culture.
In ‘Karma,’ along with Bipin and Upasana, the cast includes Mukun Bhusal, Sarita Giri, Divyadev, Ben Basnet, Sujan Silwal, Anil Budhathoki, Nirmal Sharma, and others.
The film ‘Karma’ is set to release on Chait 29, 2082, coinciding with the New Year 2082. It will be released simultaneously in Nepal and abroad.
‘Karma’ is an action film that also includes drama and suspense. The story of the film has been written by the director, Chaudhary himself.
‘Karma’ has secured international distribution rights, which have been acquired by Seven Seas Cinema.
The film features the music direction of Bhaskar Swar, choreography by Kaviraj Ghatraj, action direction by Shri Shrestha, and editing by Nimesh Shrestha.
The film also has the involvement of key personnel such as Samir Miya as the VFX artist, Uttam Neupane’s background score, Shahil Khan’s teaser-trailer, Vijay Bashyal’s publicity design, and Rajendra Moktan as the colorist.
Presented by Artistic Entertainment, ‘Karma’ is produced with the investment of Basant Lamsal. This is the first film produced by Artistic Entertainment.
Director Chaudhary’s previous film ‘Agastya: Chapter 1’ received a positive response from both the audience and critics.
