Producer, director, and actor Santosh Babu Lohani has been appointed as a member of the Film Development Board. He received this appointment through a ministerial decision from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
Starting his film career in 1992 with “Apmaan”, he has played lead roles in films like “Apmaan” and “Jay Vijay”, as well as worked in popular television programs such as “Nari, The Woman”, “Hello Nepal”, and “Koirala, For Humanity”.
Lohani was previously a member of the International Film Promotion Committee of the board.
There is still one vacant position on the board. The term of member Raju Khatri Kshetri will end on 18th Chait (Nepali calendar).
