The release date for the film ‘Narsimha: Avatar’ has been announced along with the unveiling of its first look.
The grand event took place today at Global College in Kathmandu, where the first look of the film was revealed. Two posters were showcased in the presence of over five hundred students.
The film’s production team has declared that it will be released on Jestha 9 next year. Written and directed by Diwakar Bhattarai, this film marks the comeback of actor Rajesh Hamal to the Nepali film industry after eight years, making it special and highly anticipated.
Possibly, this event featured the longest poster unveiling in Nepali film history. During the event, actor Hamal mentioned that he has worked in over 300 films but has never witnessed such a grand poster launch before.
The film stars Rajesh Hamal alongside Saroj Khanal, Neer Shah, Raj Katuwal, Neeti Shah, Sanisha Bhattarai, Usha Khadgi, Arjun Shrestha, Prashant Tamrakar, Ramesh Chand Sodari, Prakash Kunwar, Rajiv Jung Basnet, Deepa Shahi, Prabhu Shrestha, Amit Giri, Evelina Khadka, Samaira Thapa, Asha Poudel, and others.
Cinematographed by Raju Bikram Thapa, the film features choreography by Kabiraj Gahatraj and Michael Chand, action sequences by Chandra Pant, editing by Milan Shrestha and Sahil Khan, and music by Shambhujeet Baskota and Arjun Pokhrel. The poster design was done by Rakesh Dahal.
The film has been financed by Deepak Sharma Dhakal, Narendra Maharjan, Dhruva Neupane, and Nem Maharjan. Karan Singh serves as the production designer, while Basanta Adhikari is the associate director.
During the event, ten questions related to Rajesh Hamal were asked to the students. Those who answered correctly were rewarded with gifts from the film’s cast.
Students from Global College expressed their excitement to watch this film. ‘Narsimha: Avatar’ has been described as a mix of romance, suspense, and action.
