The song from the film Karma has been released. It was made public through Sushant KC’s YouTube channel.
The romantic song titled Paagal features the voice of the popular singer Sushant KC. The lyrics and music of the song are also by KC himself.
The song captures the moment when Bipin Karki, upon seeing Upasana Singh Thakuri, instantly falls madly in love.
The lyrics and melody of the song are in Sushant KC’s signature style, which makes the production team confident that the younger generation will appreciate it. Sushant has expressed the depth of love seen in each other’s eyes through his song.
A short clip of the song, shared on Facebook Shorts and Reels, was highly appreciated by the audience.
He has composed the song in a way that resonates with today’s youth. This is Sushant’s first song in a film.
Although he had received multiple offers before, he had never sung for a film. He usually sings only for collection albums.
Sushant had previously shared on social media, saying, “First song for a film, a new experience, coming to theaters soon in Chaitra.”
The video features the lead actors of the film. Bipin and Upasana have performed in the video, portraying their love for each other.
The film’s footage has been used in the video, and Sushant himself is also featured alongside the film’s actors.
The film Karma is set to be released on Chaitra 29, 2082, coinciding with the New Year. It will be released simultaneously in Nepal and abroad.
Apart from Bipin and Upasana, the film features performances by Mukunda Bhusal, Divyadev, Sarita Giri, Ben Basnet, Sujyan Silwal, Anil Budhathoki, Nirmal Sharma, and others.
‘Karma’ is an action-packed film that blends drama, suspense, and action. The film’s story has been written by director Chaudhary himself. The international distribution rights of Karma have been acquired by Seven Seas Films.
The film features music direction by Bhaskar Swar, choreography by Kabiraj Gahatraj, action direction by Shri Shrestha, and editing by Nimesh Shrestha.
Taranath Nyaupane is the chief assistant director, while the film also includes VFX by Samir Miya, background score by Uttam Nyaupane, teaser-trailer by Shahil Khan, publicity design by Bijay Basyal, and color grading by Rajendra Moktan.
Produced under the banner of Artistic Entertainment, Karma is backed by investor Basanta Lamsal.
Director Chaudhary’s previous film, Agastya: Chapter 1, received positive feedback from both audiences and critics.
