
Marking the arrival of New Year 2082, the action-packed trailer of the upcoming film Pitambar, set to release on Chaitra 29, has been made public. The production team unveiled the trailer at an event held in the capital on Tuesday.
The trailer begins with a scene featuring actress Surakshya Panta and a child enjoying themselves in a wheat field. It primarily showcases action sequences, emphasizing themes of revenge. Most of the scenes in the trailer are action-heavy, and nearly all the film’s actors are featured. The trailer has been released through Budha Subba Digital.
Following the trailer release, the film’s director, Krisha Chaulagain, stated that with this release, they have now entrusted the film to the audience. “With the trailer out, we have surrendered ourselves to the viewers. Just like the teaser, songs, and posters, we are confident that the audience will appreciate the trailer as well,” she said.
The film’s producer, Bishal Chaulagain, mentioned that he has contributed a quality film to the Nepali film industry. He expressed that if filmmakers collaborate and move forward together, it will benefit the industry as a whole.
Produced under the banners of KP Films and Purushottam Pradhan Films, Pitambar stars Pradeep Khadka, Dayahang Rai, Saugat Malla, Aryan Sigdel, Anup Bikram Shahi, Surakshya Panta, Gauri Malla, Rabindra Jha, Pramod Agrahari, Kameshwar Chaurasiya, Tika Pahadi, Sulabh Pahadi, Survir Pandit, Bishal Pahadi, Divyadev Panta, Supushpa Bhatt, Divya Rayamajhi, Gaurav Bisht, Ashish Purush, Lalit Bisht, Kishor Bhatt, Binod Kumar Poudel, Narayan Kafle, and Rabindra Bhattarai.
Additionally, child actors Arnab Ghimire, Prayush Dutt Subedi, Aadhya Lamichhane, Aaroh Chaulagain, and Suprol Budhathoki (Anmol) have also performed in the film.
With Bishal Chaulagain as the producer, the film’s co-producers include Purushottam Pradhan, Aadhya Lamichhane, and Aaroh Chaulagain, while Suman Gautam serves as the executive producer. The screenplay and dialogues are penned by Pradeep Bhardwaj and Abhimanyu Nirvi. The cinematography is handled by Purushottam Pradhan, Sher Bahadur Lama, and Man Krishna Maharjan, while the editing and trailer cut have been done by Bande Prasad.
The film’s music is composed by Ashish Aviral and Babul Giri, with Himal KC handling the action choreography. The film will be distributed by RR Films.
