The first song ‘Ghamai Raja’ from the film Jante Bakhro, directed by Simos Sunuwar, has been released.
The song was unveiled during an event in the capital on Thursday. The song features the lyrics, music, and vocals by Babul Giri.
The music video of the song features the film’s lead actors, Saugat Mall and Garima Sharma. Both are shown in a romantic avatar, and towards the end of the video, actor Ashif Shah also makes an appearance as a surprise.
The film is set to release on Jeth 9 (May 23rd).
Earlier, the film’s first look was released, and the release date was announced as Jeth 23 (June 6th), but the film’s team revealed at the song’s release event that it will now be released on Jeth 9 (May 23rd).
Producer Santosh Gautam mentioned that the film Viral Gorkhe, starring Saugat Mall in the lead role, will also be released next week, so a two-week gap was planned between the two films. He expressed optimism that the audience would enjoy Jante Bakhro as a result of the hard work put in by him and his team. He also revealed plans for a simultaneous release of Jante Bakhro in both Nepal and abroad.
Director Simos Sunuwar shared that he has worked to correct the mistakes and weaknesses from his previous films, aiming to deliver a better movie to the audience with Jante Bakhro. He expressed confidence that, thanks to the hard work of his team in everything from acting to scriptwriting, the audience would enjoy the film.
Meanwhile, the film’s lead actress Garima Sharma mentioned that as it is her first time in a leading role, she felt nervous before stepping on stage. Along with Saugat, Ashif, and Garima, the film also features performances by actors such as Rama Thapaliya, Lokendra Lekhak, Kamal Devkota, Vishal Pahadi, Rusha Nyaupane, Kusum Sharma, Sneha Joshi, Samapika Gautam, and Kushal Gajmer.
Presented by Moin Entertainment, Jante Bakhro is a social comedy film. The story, screenplay, and dialogues are written by Pradeep Bhardwaj, and the film is produced by Santosh Gautam.
The film features Hari Humagai as the DOP, Uttam Humagai as the cinematographer, Sunil Shivbhakti as the editor, and Royal Bhimsen (Trident Concept Team) as the poster designer. The film’s distribution will be handled by Tifulk Films, and the digital rights have been acquired by G2One Digital.
