The trailer of the film ‘Karma’ has been released. A special event was organized in Kathmandu on Thursday to unveil the trailer of ‘Karma.’
The trailer features the main cast of the film, including Bipin Karki, Upasana Singh Thakuri, Mukun Bhusal, Sarita Giri, and others. The trailer emphasizes action as its main element.
The released trailer depicts how a corrupt society pushes an innocent and straightforward young man to the extreme. It shows how a young man, pursuing his goals, gets trapped in circumstances and ends up involved in crime and police custody.
The trailer hints at a story of love, a mother’s blessings, and a ruthless society.
Director Saurabh Chaudhary, who has portrayed Bipin in an action-packed role, attempts to tell a story about a society obsessed with money and power, rooted in action.
‘Karma’ stars Bipin, Upasana, Mukun, and Sarita, along with Divyadev, Ben Basnet, Sujyan Silwal, Anil Budhathoki, Nirmal Sharma, and other actors.
Scheduled to release on Chaitra 29 (April 11, 2025), ‘Karma’ will be simultaneously screened in Nepal and abroad, coinciding with the Nepali New Year 2082.
Belonging to the action genre, ‘Karma’ is a blend of drama, suspense, and action. The film’s story has been written by director Chaudhary himself.
Seven Seas Cinema has acquired the international distribution rights for ‘Karma.’
The film features music direction by Bhaskar Swar, choreography by Kaviraj Gahatraj, action direction by Shree Shrestha, and editing by Nimesh Shrestha.
With Taranath Neupane as the chief assistant director, the film also includes VFX by Samir Miya, background score by Uttam Neupane, teaser-trailer by Shahil Khan, publicity design by Vijay Basyal, and color grading by Rajendra Moktan.
Produced under Artistic Entertainment, ‘Karma’ is backed by Basanta Lamsal’s investment.
Director Chaudhary’s previous film, ‘Agastya: Chapter 1,’ received positive responses from both audiences and critics.
