The song ‘Naacha Putali’ from the Nepali film Jhilko has been released. The song, which was made public via the internet on Friday, is linked with emotional feelings, where an attempt is made to cheer up a sad young girl and make her happy. The song features touching lyrics by Anand Adhikari, powerful music by Dipak Sharma, and a melodious voice by Shahima Shrestha.

The music video showcases two beautiful locations and energetic performances by dancers Ashma Bishwakarma and Chahana Pun. The two try to cheer up the main character, played by Ayushi Dhakal, which adds a mysterious touch to the video. Additionally, actor Sunil Pokhrel’s presence in the video conveys the seriousness of the film’s plot.

This film, set to release nationwide on the 19th of Baishakh, has been created to highlight the increasing digital dependency of the current generation and its psychological, social, and family impacts, according to director Yadav Kumar Bhattarai. The story reveals how excessive use of mobile phones causes rifts in relationships, distances between individuals, and the characters who are lost in the digital world rather than real life.

Director Bhattarai, who has previously directed successful films like Jhola and another film Bhor, has included Ayushi Dhakal, Sunil Pokhrel, Varsha Siva Koti, Vishal Pokhrel, Bholaraj Sapkota, Jenish Shrestha, and JB Shrestha in the cast of ‘Jhilko’. The film’s cinematography is done by Deepak Bajracharya, editing by Nimesh Shrestha, color and sound mixing by Shyam Kunwar, and sound design by Uttam Nyaupane.

The screenplay and story of ‘Jhilko’ were created by director Bhattarai, along with Arundev Joshi and Dev Brat, and the film is presented by Media for Culture Pvt. Ltd. and produced in collaboration with Janata TV.
