
The film Janai Harayeko Bahun held its auspicious start (Shubh Muhurat) this morning in Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu.
Most of the cast members were present at the auspicious event. Actress Miruna Magar, actor Sushank Mainali, actor Gaurav Pahadi, and Bholaraj Sapkota performed the muhurat shot in the Budhanilkantha temple premises.
According to the production team, the filming will begin tomorrow. Prior to this, a script puja for the film was also performed.
The film Janai Harayeko Bahun is directed by Himal Nyaupane. It stars Vijay Baral, Sushank Mainali, Keki Adhikari, Miruna Magar, Gaurav Pahadi, Rier Rai, Bholaraj Sapkota, and others.
Filming will start tomorrow in Panauti, Kavrepalanchok. The film will also be shot in Palpa and Kathmandu.
Janai Harayeko Bahun will tell the story of a simple man who comes from the village to the city and experiences unexpected events that bring about a transformation in his life. The film will also depict the emotional story between a mother and her son.
After the auspicious start, actress Miruna briefly shared with the media, “I am very happy to be a part of this team. I want to thank the entire team. My character in this film is very special to me.”
Associate Director Manish Raut mentioned, “This film represents the story of all Nepali people. It tells the tale of our relationships, including between siblings and the bond between mother and son.”
Actor Sushank Mainali, who is making his return to cinema after 10 years with Talkjung Vs Tulke, expressed his happiness in being part of this team.
This is the debut directorial venture of Himal Nyaupane. The associate director of the film is Manish Raut, who is also an actor in Prem Geet 3.
The story, screenplay, and dialogue of the film are written by Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal. The film is produced by Vimal Nyaupane under the banner of Paperclip Pvt. Ltd.
The executive producers of the film are Kamal Nyaupane, Narayan Timsina, Churamani Shivakoti, Rupesh Lama, and RK Manandhar.
The film will feature music by Thaneshwar Gautam and SD Yogi, and the cinematography will be done by Naveen Gurung. Laxmanraj Paudel will be the production manager.
The film’s shooting schedule will span 40 days.
